IngFactz Privacy Policy

If you create an account, we collect your email address and display name. We store a history of the products you scan (product name, type, and score) tied to your account.

Photos you take or upload are sent to Google’s Gemini API for analysis. IngFactz does not store or retain the photos themselves.

If you’re on the Free tier, we show ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve and measure ads, subject to your device’s ad-tracking permission (e.g. iOS App Tracking Transparency). Pro and Pro Plus subscribers see no ads and are not served through AdMob.

Paid subscriptions are purchased and billed by the Apple App Store or Google Play, not by us directly — we never see your payment details. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status across both stores; RevenueCat receives your purchase/subscription events (not your payment method) to tell us which plan tier your account is on.

You can delete your account and all associated scan history at any time from the Settings tab in the app, or at cgsols.com/ingfactz/delete-account.

Deletion is not immediate: your account is scheduled for removal and permanently erased 30 days later. During those 30 days your data is retained but unused, and signing in again restores the account and cancels the deletion. Once the 30 days elapse, your account, scan history, saved items, and plan records are deleted from our database and cannot be recovered. The grace period exists so an accidental deletion isn’t irreversible.
